Sase (Secure Access Service Edge): hoe veilig is het Hybride werken nu echt?
By: Florian Buijs, Channel Sales Engineer Palo Alto Networks
It goes without saying that the resiliency and ingenuity of the human spirit is truly remarkable. When faced with extreme situations, time after time we have seen humanity rise to the challenge and find innovative ways to adjust to and overcome adversity. And these past two years were no exception.
2020 changed how and where we work for good. In response to a global pandemic, organizations of all shapes and sizes underwent massive transformations to shift their employees from primarily working in offices to working from home. The response was swift and effective - nearly overnight businesses around the world were able to enable the majority of their workforces to be remote while maintaining or in some cases increasing productivity.
While employers and employees adapted to and embraced their new situation, they also viewed their new model of work as not just a point in time, but something more permanent. As businesses prepare for a post-pandemic world, it’s clear the workforce is eager to maintain the flexibility and productivity gains of a work-from-anywhere, or hybrid work environment. As a result, businesses are now forced to also retool their security infrastructures to not only securely enable corporate resources 24/7 but also deliver a seamless in-office user experience everywhere their hybrid workforces connect.
